ALIVE AND KICKING (UEFA EURO 2020)
Due to COVID-19, the world has had to learn to stay connected while apart. Footballers get a huge adrenaline rush from the tunnel before the game - hearing the cheers from the crowd in the stadium. The supporters make the game. At the time of this brief, we had no idea if the crowds will be there in person. So I thought, why not flip the tunnel and stadium around and build a similar experience before the game ALIVE AND KICKING with ALIPAY.
When the players step off the bus and walk through the corridors of the stadium, each team will hear a cheer from their loyal fans. Branded walls with giant newspaper prints of supporting fans and personal messages (thanks to Alipay's technology we can get footage from the fans when they register). Enticing the players to stop and interact with the digital screen - see young fans, wave and sign a virtual autograph. Once uploaded onto the digital screen the autograph will be sent to the fan who can then, place it on one of the ALIVE AND KICKING photo's selection, once the game is over.
TOP SCORER TROPHY
Alipay’s distinctive trophy will be awarded to the top scorer at UEFA EURO 2020, with the winner’s score being uploaded to blockchain for permanent storage for the first time. Using the mantra of Alipay's connecting worlds, and turning the blue dot into an interactive football / globe. It comes alive with Alipay's touch for that WOW moment.
VIRTUAL STUDIO (TROPHY PRESENTATION)
Following the concept of flipping the environments around. Why not turn the Virtual Studio into a mini football stadium with graphic walls and interactive screens showing the highlights of the game and the crowds reactions. So when the top scorer comes into the room he feels empowered and ready to chat to the Alipay's viewers.
